Hello!  Welcome to our newly redesigned website.   This is a quick explanation of how to move around the site and what it contains.

The flower in the top right-hand corner is for navigation.  Click on a petal to go to the appropriate page.  It is easy to get back to the home page from anywhere in the site - just click on the hummingbird in the middle of the flower.

Hint: if you need to make the text larger for easier reading, scroll down to the bottom of the page.

The Info Centre is the heart of our site.   Here you can find the "Where to Begin" guide.  You can also create your own care guide by answering a series of general questions.  Try it!

About Us contains our contact information, a history of the organization, a list of our Board of Directors and profiles of our staff.

In the Research section you will find links to many of the academic institutions and community organizations that are researching caregiving in order to make evidence-based recommendations for policy changes.

The Events calendar is a monthly list of caregiving related events being held by Caregivers Nova Scotia or other organizations.

We Need You! Here you will find information on becoming a Caregivers Nova Scotia volunteer.

The News section contains archived news stories.

In our Library you will find the titles of books and videos that you can borrow from us at no cost.

'Round the Kitchen Table is the place to discuss caregiving with other caregivers in a "virtual support group".

The Community section is accessed from the drop down box in the right hand column of our home page.  Once you choose a community from the list provided, you will be taken to its website, where local events and news are highlighted.  We will be adding communities upon request, so please call us if you think your community should be included.
